ATI Companies Environmental Drilling Team completed 134 Soil Borings using Direct Push Technology (DPT) , and 28 Temporary Wells through 20 Sites in Tampa off Busch Blvd between Dale Mabry and Nebraska Avenue focusing on focusing on UOG (Unconventional Oil and Gas), Pesticides and Hardness. The purpose of this project is to provide the FDOT with concerning potentially hazardous waste and pollutants associated with the proposed transportation improvement project. The Ambient Technologies Team used GEOPROBE 7822DT to install 134 (one hundred and thirty-four) 15 ft bls with soil sampling. Additional 28 Monitoring Wells (28) down to 15 ft bls wells. This will help in the assessment of the extent and direction of contaminant plumes at the project site. GEOPROBE rods and drive points were used to drill the bore holes and then have access for a 30-minute groundwater sampling . The continuous soil cores collected during the installation of monitor wells will help in understanding the distribution of geological formations, and potential contaminants in the subsurface and are essential for designing effective remediation strategies and other necessary issues for the improvement/expansion of Busch Blvd. Project Services: • Geoprobe- DPT install up to one hundred and thirty four (134) SBs up to 15ft. Hand clear to 5ft and macrocore to TD. Grout/plug and patch once complete. • Geoprobe- DPT install up to twenty eight (28) Temp. Wells to 15ft (on previously drilled borings). Wells are 1" with 10ft of regular PVC 0.010 slotted screen. Hand clear to 5ft and macrocore to TD. • Remove/abandon temp. wells once sampled.
