Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is a non-intrusive geophysical method that can be used to test concrete reinforcement conditions.
Objectives of this application include:
1. Identify and map rebar or post-tension cables
2. Determine areas of rebar deterioration
3. Determine presence of voids or honey-combing
4. Determine thickness of concrete slabs
5. Determine location of in-slab conduits
6. Determine presence of voids or washouts below concrete slabs
